The staff counsel office of Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey located in Mount Laurel seeks a full time attorney with an insurance defense background to handle all aspects of personal injury litigation from initial referral to trial. The attorney would be responsible for handing predominately Central New Jersey territories but may get cases in any county in the State. In this position, the Senior Underwriter will be responsible for interpreting insured and agency analytics, work collaboratively across the organization, executing and creating processes to identify and address Rate Evasion. Identify potential areas of risk and working internally with Claims, Sales, Product and Customer Care and directly with insured and agencies to resolve findings. Reviewing and evaluating Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey Automobile and personal Umbrella new business applications, renewals and endorsements for completion, accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines. Within company policy and guidelines, make underwriting decisions using appropriate tools and use independent judgement in accordance to given authority.

This individual is responsible for the handling of Auto Property Claims in accordance with NJ Unfair Practices Act. The environment is fast paced with heavy phone work. The position requires patience and the ability to function professionally in adversarial situations.

- Investigate and interpret policy provisions, endorsements and conditions to make a coverage determination in the automobile property claim.
- Identify and investigate Contested Coverage Claims with recommendation prepared for coverage committee.
- Responsible for the investigation of the auto accident to make a liability assessment. This includes interviewing first and third party claimants, witnesses, investigating officers and other relevant parties, along with securing pertinent records, documentation and loss scene information.

The Field Auto Damage Appraiser is responsible for preparing physical damage estimates on vehicles where a claim has been submitted for first or third party damages. The party will be required to provide a high level of customer service while utilizing measures to control severities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Survey damages, prepare estimates and negotiate settlements on partial and total losses within their established authority level.
- Issue drafts to the appropriate parties.
- Document the claim file as necessary.
- Complete re inspections and supplements in a timely manner and in accordance with all guidelines.
- Comply with all production standards and estimating guidelines
- Ensure that service, expense control and public relations are maintained at all times.
- Complete reports on investigative assignments.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Participate in catastrophic claim handling when requested. This may include overnight travel for extended periods of time.
- Adhere to privacy guidelines and State Compliance Regulations (NJ, PA, NY, CT).
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years of auto claims appraisal experience.
- Must have valid drivers license and favorable driving record.
- Appraisal license preferred.
- Adverse conditions are encountered while inspecting vehicles. Incumbent must be able to work outside in inclement weather and drive long distances.
- Comfortable completing inspections of damaged vehicles including but not limited to crawling under and around vehicles, inspecting vehicles in tight quarters at body shops and salvage yards, etc.
- Must be willing to participate in catastrophe claim handling when requested. This may include traveling to other locations, extended and weekend hours, and up to a three week stay away from home.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Body shop experience a plus but not required.
- Must be organized and possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

This position is responsible for the handling of Auto Property Total Loss Claims in accordance with NJ Unfair Practices Act. The environment is fast paced with heavy phone work. - Negotiates and communicates all first and third-party total loss settlements per company and state guidelines. Multi Jurisdictions to include: NY, NJ, PA and CT (when licensed)

- Create letters of explanation when coding updates have been performed
- Prepare support for Counsel and Litigation department to use for defending arbitration; attend hearings as necessary
- Serve as a resource within the Department related to billing and coding issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education
- Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCA, CCS) with high degree of competence in this area with 3-5 years of experience
- Hospital and Surgical Coding experience preferred but not necessary
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; College degree preferred
- Knowledge of CPT coding guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of CMS/Medicare, NCCI, AMA
- NJ PIP and/or Workers Compensation experience preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and policy compliance issues related to medical coding and documentation
- Analytical and problem-solving capability
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong internet research skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, medical providers, and customers
- Ability to participate in a teamwork approach to accomplish tasks

The Email Marketing Strategist for Plymouth Rock’s Direct division will play pivotal role in growing our brand awareness and increasing quoting traffic through the use of cold email campaigns sent to purchased and acquired lists. Ideal candidates for this position are expected to be innovative collaborators and speak email. You will be tasked with leading effective email marketing strategies, analyzing results, implementing new tactics, and ensuring maximum return on investment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead the prospecting email strategy for Plymouth Rock’s Direct division and employ tactics that return the greatest engagement.
- Acquire, clean, segment, and manage various email listings for our planned campaigns.
- Create, monitor, and enhance email prospecting journeys to improve engagement across various segments
- Monitor and report on relevant KPI’s including Bounce Rate, Delivery Rate, Open Rate, Click Through Rate
- Collaborate with our Digital Strategy Team to ensure the desired strategy and tactics are implemented accurately.
- Track, analyze and report regularly on email campaign results and email KPI’s
- Use research, insights and A/B testing to constantly optimize campaigns.
Qualifications and Education
- Degree in marketing, advertising, communication science, or equivalent
- 3+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in the cold email/prospecting space
- 1 to 3 years of experience using HTML/CSS to create dynamic emails for direct to consumer email campaigns
- Proven success implementing and managing cold email campaigns across various email service providers
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- You must have excellent written communication skills, exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred
