Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Analytical and problem solving skills to use and interpret information and facts as well as apply critical techniques to investigative process. - Identify patterns and trends using our internal claim, medical and policy data tables. - The ability to receive investigative requests from the field staff, internal claim associates and underwriting to discover developing patterns, trends and changes in suspicious activity. - Proven ability to acquire, analyze and interpret information from various data sources and formulate theories regarding trends and patterns required. - The ability to identify trends and common indicators within particular claims and territories and determine if further investigation is warranted. - The ability to present to management in a clear and concise manner the approach to address potential suspicious/fraud activity that could impact the company. - Proactively monitor industry information bulletins and NICB alerts to determine potential exposure to the company. - Conduct data mining activities and data analysis using available tools and internal databases.The ability to work with our product department on predictive analytics and pattern analysis initiatives. - Collaborate with others in developing visual analytics to support complex investigation data involving multiple claims and multiple entities participating in the fraudulent schemes. - Utilize data visualization tools and/or other analytics software to create reports for the team and/or management on the territory specific SIU operational performance. - Develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the SIU business to replicate and improve current measures and create new metrics and ways to view and analyze results. Qualifications and Education - Knowledge of information technology and data analysis methodologies, including understanding how technology can leveraged to proactively impact suspicious/fraud activity. - The ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data from various internal and external sources and develop recommendations. - The ability to read and interpret complex information and explain it to others; listen actively, stay focused, identify hidden messages and draw out underlying issues. - Organizational skills with the ability to organize data in manageable subsets and the ability to get requests completed timely and accurately. - Proven excellence in critical thinking and conceptual skills’ creative use of varied research methods. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft: Excel, Access and Visio. We would love for you to join our award winning team!   The Senior Accountant, Treasury Operations is responsible for day to day activity relating to treasury operations, cash accounting, cash management and investment accounting.  The Senior Accountant will support the Treasury Manager by assisting in preparation of cash forecasts for the enterprise, monitoring daily cash inflows and outflows in the Treasury Management System (TMS) and preparing cash transfers in the TMS. In addition, this position is responsible for completing the monthly investment accounting close, including posting investment journal entries to the general ledger, reconciling balances to the Investment Accounting system and preparation of STAT and GAAP schedules and footnotes.    This is a key role within the organization.  This individual will have direct visibility with members of the Enterprise Finance Team, including the Chief Financial Officer, and the Company’s Investment Advisor, SRB.  The applicant must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently and have a strong working knowledge of Investment Accounting standards for GAAP, STAT and Tax accounting. Prior experience with Clearwater Analytics is highly preferred.  The applicant for this position must be able to research and implement best practices across all disciplines of the position. The Telematics Program Manager will be responsible for leading enterprise wide product development for the Road Rewards telematics program for the Plymouth Rock Independent Agency group.  From decreasing distracted driving to reducing aggressive driving habits, the Road Rewards mobile app offers feedback to customers on their driving behaviors and offers an opportunity to earn rewards.  Our plan is to not only create distinctive advantage for this high visibility program but to make our roads safer for all reducing the tremendous human trauma and financial costs caused by unsafe and, in particular, distracted driving.   This positon will be responsible for the customer acquisition into the program, engagement and retention, improving driving habits and working with partners and vendors to enhance customer experience.  Critical to this role is passion for designing and reaching consumers through exciting and innovative marketing/promotional campaigns that ultimately entice action (drive enrollments, usage and overall program engagement).      Specific Responsibilities Include: - Leverage a breadth of experience in business strategy, customer insight, market insight, product and/or service design and technology into actionable experience strategy and execution that will delight and serve customers - Accountable for achieving P&L goals for the Road Rewards program, including subscription and engagement metrics growth, loss reduction and retention improvements - Partner with executive management and other departments to drive an enterprise wide Road Rewards roadmap - Responsible for leading the strategy and executing on campaigns that drive acquisition, member engagement and retention for the Road Rewards program. The Senior Analyst, Product & Underwriting Strategy will support the development, analysis and execution of strategies to improve product competitiveness, underwriting results and operational efficiencies. This role serves as a liaison between the Product department and all of the other departments that interface with the group ensuring that projects are defined and implemented as intended.    Role and Responsibilities: - Be a key member of the Product team that is accountable for the P&L of the Commercial Auto business. Will be responsible for supporting budgeted growth and profitable business results for assigned state(s). - Serves as a Commercial Auto Product Lead and regulatory expert, providing a thorough understanding of rules and endorsements. Monitors the competitive, legislative, and regulatory environments in assigned state(s) to identify emerging trends and address marketplace gaps. - May lead various strategic underwriting initiatives involving analysis of Underwriting KPIs, go-to-market strategies, 3rd party vendor relationships, and/or Independent Agency segmentation. - Under general direction, effectively manage projects of high complexity using available tools and data systems to identify, test & learn and solve strategic business issues within the company data/reports, troubleshoots when there are inconsistencies and present findings. - Works collaboratively across Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, IT, R&D, Actuarial and all other departments that interface with the group to align execution of strategic imperatives. - Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset seeking out new innovations and approaches to business issues and develops hypotheses independently. - Regularly prepare and deliver updates to Management and key stakeholders. - Serves as a mentor to other team members on aspects of predictive modeling and other quantitative concepts, project work, insurance operations and general business knowledge.   Required Skills: - Understanding of and experience with insurance products and operations, including underwriting/claims, pricing/rating concepts, insurance finance and risk selection methodologies. Customer Solutions Business Analyst   Develop, support and implement strategies that improve the effectiveness of the Customer Solution organization. The Total Loss Unit within our Claims Organization is responsible for identifying, negotiating and settling total losses with both insureds and claimants.  The Total Loss Claim Representative processes payments and is responsible for the documentation of assigned claims as well as coordinate disposition of the total loss salvage vehicle.  He/she is responsible for controlling total loss expenses and salvage recoveries on all total losses assigned.   Responsibilities: - Negotiates and communicates all total loss and diminished value settlements per company and state guidelines. Multi jurisdictions, including MA, NH, CT, NY, and others as required - Understands the total loss evaluation methodology processes with the ability to effectively communicate these to vehicle owners. - Has a basic understanding of vehicle financing / leasing. - Reviews damage estimates to confirm vehicles are total losses. - Documents all settlements and actions in the claim file system. - Works directly with salvage vendor to move vehicles and obtains salvage bids where necessary - Negotiates and settles claims within his/her individual authority. Submits claims for approval to supervisor when over his/her authority or for guidance, review and/or referral when appropriate. - Escalates claims to supervisor that are not moving in a positive direction. - Maintains an effective diary system on pending files. The Senior Field Marketing Representative is accountable for the daily management and business relationship between the Company and a specific group of independent agents. The area of coverage is Central & Eastern Massachusetts. Responsibilities include appointing new independent agencies, establishing and managing agent’s annual business plans against the Company’s strategic business goals, implementing and monitoring various sales programs, and training all levels within the agency regarding specific rating and service functions. The Senior Marketing Representative serves as the liaison between all the functional departments within the Company and our agents, thereby maintaining the relationship between Company and Agent. Qualifications and Education - 3+ Years of Field Sales/Marketing experience working with Independent Agents required. - Bachelor's degree (B.
