Join Plymouth Rock Assurance, a dynamic leader in the insurance industry, as an Adverse Subrogation Claims Representative. We're seeking a seasoned professional to independently investigate, pursue, and recover monies from parties responsible for losses sustained by our insureds.   As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating prompt collection and maximizing recovery. Your responsibilities will include assessing liability, negotiating settlements, and enhancing our processes with your expertise.   Responsibilities:   - Analyze investigations to make liability assessments, including reviewing first and third-party statements, witness testimonies, scene photos, and other relevant data. - Evaluate proximate cause, negligence, and damages to adjust reserves accordingly. - Negotiate and settle claims within your authority, seeking guidance from supervisors when necessary. - Maintain an effective follow-up system on pending files and prioritize tasks efficiently. - Act as an intermediary between the company, preferred vendors, customers, insureds, and claimants. - Utilize Adverse Stream system for case management and maintain an active diary management system. - Respond to and draft arbitration contentions, with a willingness to become certified as an arbitrator. - Adhere to privacy guidelines, laws, and regulations pertaining to claims handling. - Scrub adverse carrier proofs to secure optimal settlements, collaborating with appraisal staff or Hyper Quest as needed.   Qualifications:   - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and computer skills. - 3 to 5+ years of experience handling auto comparative negligence claims. - Working knowledge of the inter-company arbitration process is advantageous. - Certification from Arbitration Forums is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to obtain state licenses when required. - Pursuing an insurance designation is beneficial but not mandatory. - Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills     About the Company The Plymouth Rock Company and its affiliated group of companies write and manage over $2 billion in personal and commercial auto and homeowner’s insurance throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, where we have built an unparalleled reputation for service. We are seeking an experienced Compliance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. TOTAL LOSS SUPERVISOR    We are excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Auto Total Loss Claims Supervisor in our Boston, MA office. We are seeking a qualified individual to oversee the operations of our unit of Claim Representatives who handle Total Loss Claims in accordance with state-specific regulations.   Position: Auto Total Loss Claims Supervisor Location: Boston, MA Office Schedule: 4 days/week onsite, 1 day/week remote.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Direct and control the work of Total Loss Representatives, including evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of total loss claims. - Establish and monitor unit goals for service, production, and work quality. - Plan unit workflow and monitor claim assignments based on volume. - Promote teamwork through effective leadership. - Review active and closed files in compliance with the Quality Assurance program to identify trends and provide feedback to the unit. - Provide management with monthly analysis of quality trends and performance of claims associates and salvage recoveries. - Conduct training sessions on all aspects of the job, both group and individual. - Review and approve settlements exceeding staff authority levels. - Conduct performance reviews and counseling sessions. - Monitor attendance and write performance appraisals. - Make recommendations for promotions, staff changes, and salary adjustments. - Obtain Professional license(s) as needed. - Participate in the interview process and make recommendations regarding hiring decisions. The Auto Damage Appraiser/Crashbuster is responsible for preparing physical damage estimates on vehicles where a claim has been submitted for first or third party damages in the Revere, MA area. Responsibilities: - Supervise and guide a team of Bodily Injury Claims Representatives, fostering their professional development through tailored training programs and individualized growth plans. - Lead and manage claims operations by ensuring comprehensive investigations, accurate reserve setting, cost management, and the resolution of claims in line with our stringent quality assurance benchmarks. - Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel to strategize and oversee litigation files through various processes such as committee sessions, strategy meetings, arbitrations, and mediations, aiming for favorable outcomes. - Identify and address significant claim exposures, presenting comprehensive large loss analyses to senior management for informed decision-making. - Monitor and optimize individual and team performance metrics and key indicators, using this data to guide and improve claims handling strategies. - Conduct detailed reviews of pending claims through diary control and reports, providing insightful guidance and recommendations for enhanced claims management. - Address inquiries from independent agents and internal departments, collaborating as needed with product, marketing, and actuarial teams. - Perform regular self-audits against industry best practices, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members based on these evaluations.
