The Field Marketing Representative provides sales and marketing support to authorized agents and marketing assistants, and is accountable for profitable book growth in an assigned agency. Field Marketing Representatives are responsible for managing the daily business relationship between the Company and sales representatives, and for developing, implementing and monitoring agent -based sales initiatives and campaigns. This person will help drive sales and revenue through product training, sales training, coaching and performance management. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Develops marketing plans and an implementation strategy for field agents and marketing assistants consistent with company objectives. - Monitor, analyze and report on agent /agency production and quality results against company objectives. - Identify practical solutions and action plans to improve results. - Conduct face-to-face meetings with agents to strengthen business relationships and to manage/resolve business conflicts.  - Develop, implement and monitor agent sales programs and campaigns within an assigned agency; identify selling opportunities; and gather competitive intelligence. - Assist with design and delivery of agent training programs to advance the sales skills, product knowledge, and performance of agents and marketing assistants. - Act as key day-to-day liaison with agents/agency and assist in the resolution of issues or problems impacting the sales force. - Serve as the liaison between all the functional departments within the Company and our agency force. - Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all company products, guidelines, and procedures. - Maintain an understanding of the regulatory issues impacting the NJ auto insurance marketplace. - Accountable for profitable growth in assigned agencies. - Frequent travel within Northern, NJ region.  Company vehicle provided. - This person will be required to obtain P&C License during first year of employment.   Qualifications and Education - Three (3) years of experience in a P&C Sales or Agency Service position desired. - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. - Experience in training, coaching and motivating sales agents. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Strong analytical ability. The Digital Product Manager develops our Agent Web experience and strategy while also leading the delivery of new and improved applications to internal and external customers to achieve sales, service and other key business goals.  Working closely with executives across the enterprise and many other constituents, he/she/they will develop digital experiences for a world class agent experience. This person leads the development of the company’s Agency Web features. Our Agent web applications are used by Independent Agents who will sell more of our products if digital experiences are easy and intuitive. The person who fills this role serves on the Digital team, working with IT and all other departments to create enterprise solutions that drive business results. The role requires an individual who has a passion for and track record of data driven decision making. It is expected that the leader in this role will tell their story with data, trends and performance statistics.   The role will be responsible for mentoring, training, and developing team members on technical and analytical skills, as well as insurance and general business knowledge. In addition to Digital Experience, the ideal candidate will have Business Analyst, Project Management and Relationship Management skills.  The incumbent will have at least one direct report supporting this work and will report to the Director of Enterprise Digital Experience.   Specific responsibilities include: - Improve new business sales results. - Collaborate on a regular basis with IT on strategies, solutions, resources and budget. - This includes managing IT spend budgets - Monitoring and managing frequent stand-ups - Managing the project backlog - Managing to Sales and Service Goals for the Agency Web channel annual goals - Translate business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps and specifications. - Develop cutting edge agent automation programs utilizing digital channels that will engage our agents and employees. - Challenges current processes and proposed solutions to obtain the best outcome.
