Our Customer Care Representatives work in a dynamic service center where professionalism and commitment to our team environment is highly valued. Representatives handle a large volume of inbound calls from our customers, agents, and third parties. The representative will also process policy change requests, work independently on project assignments and other work handled in the Customer Solutions Center. Representatives are expected to exercise good judgment, flexibility and friendliness in their interactions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities  - Answer questions regarding policies, coverages and premiums; assume ownership for thorough follow up on all contacts. - Deliver first call resolution and make it easy for the customer. - Develop and maintain complete product knowledge of all three lines (Auto, Homeowner and Umbrella). - Accurately enter and update policy information into the various processing systems and handle phone inquiries. - Develop and foster Agent/Company Relationships. - Perform research and initiate changes/corrections to customer’s policies according to established procedures and sound business judgment. - Meet and/or exceed the expectations of customers and agents, providing professional and efficient service at all times through positive interactions and extensive product knowledge. - The ability to work a flexible schedule is a critical aspect of this position. Hours for this position are shifts between: 8:00am–7:00pm Monday – Friday and 10:00am–3:00pm every third Saturday Qualifications and Education  - Above average interpersonal, listening, communication and organizational skills. - Good analytical and decision making skills. - Excellent computer/data entry and general math skills. - High energy and motivation to follow up and take ownership. - Flexibility and ability to work under pressure. - Willingness and ability to learn new functions within the Customer Solutions Center. - The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus! - College degree and/or NJ Property & Casualty license are a plus. The Data Scientist supports the development of statistical models that will enable future growth and profitability for our book of business through appropriate pricing, underwriting and risk segmentation. He/she will report to the Manager of Data Science and will be involved in research, development and implementation of analytical solutions based on statistical models. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Performs data mining and data cleansing tasks. - Prepare datasets for modeling through balancing and validation. - Produces predictive models which enable the creation of rating plans and evaluation of risk. - Assists decision makers with studies that evaluate new business models to evaluate customers’ profitability including customers and/or risk segmentation, retention and lifetime value modeling. - Communicates to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical. - Manages projects of moderate complexity. - Supports modeling requests made by other departments. - Works closely with others to gain strong understanding of insurance concepts and processes. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education - Broad thinker with the ability to synthesize information from various sources and apply that information to concrete business problems. The Field Marketing Representative provides sales and marketing support to authorized agents and marketing assistants, and is accountable for profitable book growth in an assigned agency. In this position, the Senior Underwriter will be responsible for interpreting insured and agency analytics, work collaboratively across the organization, executing and creating processes to identify and address Rate Evasion.  Identify potential areas of risk and working internally with Claims, Sales, Product and Customer Care and directly with insured and agencies to resolve findings.  Reviewing and evaluating Automobile new business applications, renewals and endorsements for completion, accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines.  Within company policy and guidelines, make underwriting decisions using appropriate tools and use independent judgement in accordance to given authority.  The ideal candidate will also provide underwriting support and direction to agencies to improve growth and profit objectives.  This will include conducting High Loss Ratio agency activities and execute agency audits.  Emphasis is placed on customer service, agency underwriting, and building relationships in support of corporate goals.   This role will be focused on Massachusetts and New York results with responsibilities that may extend across the enterprise    To meet the needs of our organizations and the clients we serve, your role will be asked to support Customer Care inquiries, Endorsement processing, quoting and any other activities that will support the organizations success.   Responsibilities - Become a knowledge resource and thought leader for state regulator requirements, the firm’s products and underwriting guidelines and philosophy. - Support the development of new employees and existing associates through coaching and training in accordance with department procedures. - Become subject matter experts and actively asses process improvement opportunities; follow and support the documentation and maintenance of department procedures. - Develop enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities while delivering timely and accurate progress reports and monthly business results as required. - Identify and execute repeatable Rate Pursuit analytical process to evaluate insured’s and our agency force. - Constantly and consistently evaluate methods that will enable the firm to maximize premium collection. - Be available and approachable and thoughtfully address escalated issues, complaints, questions and inquiries. - Conduct agency audits to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines. - Leverage Marketing & Analytics/System generated reporting to identify, investigate and potentially audit agencies. - Execute multiple Rate Pursuit, New Business and Renewal projects. This may include new business policies review, umbrella renewal questionnaires, driver discovery, questionable risk referrals and garaging analysis. - Work closely with the Claims department to evaluate trends and take appropriate Underwriting action. Act as a resources and work collaboratively to improve Questionable Risk lifecycle results. - Special projects as assigned. We have established a strategic initiative to focus service, marketing and community support to women owned businesses, women as head of households and women decision makers.  The primary function of the Business Development Representative is to drive new prospects to Encharter Insurance to be quoted and sold by in-house licensed representatives. The success of this producer will be contingent on effective networking, cold calling and referrals.  The goal is to call on 20 potential prospects per day. He/She will reach out to secure face to face appointments with business owners and decision makers as well as with various business segments including banks, real estate, mortgage and institutions.   The role expects the producer to be prospecting clients for the main office location in Amherst, MA. The Marketing Analytics Analyst position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Direct Channel Marketing Department. Candidates in this role will specialize in a few of our Direct Marketing channels, which ranges from traditional marketing sources such as direct mail, calls & leads to digital marketing sources such as social media, SEM and SEO. Depending on the level of the candidate, they are expected to have familiarity (Level 1) to proficiency (Level 2 & 3) with marketing experience and analytical software skills.  In this role the individual will design, develop, and maintain reports, conduct data analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve the business. The Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Claim Supervisor oversees the operation of 5-7 Claim Representatives devoted to the handling of PIP Claims and Litigation cases.  This position will have oversight of the Independent Agency PIP Arbitration Team designed to analyze litigation to determine whether settlement or defense is the in the best interest of the company.   This position is responsible for planning the activities and monitoring the results of the team’s efforts to achieve assigned goals and objectives for production and quality.  Coordination of settlement conferences including report preparation, presentation and result analysis is required. The ability to review past results to frame the handling of future cases is essential; this can be used to change workflow handling and prevent future litigation. You will interact with your staff through regular Team Meetings as well as one on one developmental sessions. You will partner with management in review of the department’s pending and provide training, file handling and negotiation instruction, and advice to claims associates on an everyday basis. The ideal candidate for this position will have management skills and functional knowledge of the NJ PIP Arbitration system and NJ Automobile Insurance Cost Reduction Act.
