Join our team as a Claims Quality Assurance Specialist and take the helm in ensuring our claim operations meet and exceed industry standards. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in auditing processes across various facets including customer experience, coverage analysis, investigation, valuation, reserving, disposition, and regulatory compliance.

 

In this dynamic role, you'll craft insightful audit reports, contribute to calibration activities, and offer valuable feedback on training and development initiatives. Based in any of our IA Claim office locations (Boston, MA, Farmington, CT, Woodbridge, NJ, Parsippany, NJ or Uniondale, NY), this position is tailor-made for ambitious individual’s eager to kick-start their careers with 1-2 years of invaluable Claims QA experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive claim file audit reviews with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide prompt feedback on emerging trends and critical observations, empowering continuous improvement.
  • Monitor QA review activities at multiple levels, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Proactively assess the impact of new claim programs and processes, recommending strategic adjustments to QA criteria.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to claim partners, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Analyze QA activities and outcomes, leveraging data-driven insights to drive performance enhancements.
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Uphold strict compliance with company and industry standards in all operational processes and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Possess strong project management skills, adept at juggling multiple tasks and projects with finesse.
  • Bring 5+ years of combined automobile claim experience, including expertise in Physical Damage, Casualty, and PIP claims. Litigation experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a must, with preferred experience in ClaimsPro, Image Right, Tableau, Client Letter, Hi Marley, Agent Web, and Customer Web interfaces.
  • Demonstrate a keen ability to understand the broader organizational perspective and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Thrive in autonomy while managing a high volume of assignments, showcasing strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Possess deep knowledge of auto policies, coverage, and related regulations, coupled with a knack for maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Previous experience facilitating feedback sessions and informational presentations is advantageous.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to other offices as needed.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Hold a minimum of a BA/BS degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • Prior experience in reviewing claim files for compliance with internal standards and regulations is advantageous.
  • Completion of extensive continuing insurance education training, with AIC and/or CPCU designation preferred.
