Product Analyst

The Plymouth Rock Home team is a start-up within a well-established insurance company. Our @home product is easy to buy and full of the features our independent agents want to sell and people need to protect the things they value most. We are rapidly growing at over 3x the industry! This analyst will lead the development of innovative product features, while improving our pricing and competitive position. We are a group of fun-loving entrepreneurs laser focused on generating as many high quality @home insurance quotes as possible. If this sounds exciting to you, we hope you will consider joining us!

You know:

• How insurance pricing works and how to get things approved by state regulators
• How to leverage predictive models and other quantitative concepts to improve pricing sophistication
• How to utilize quantitative approaches to generate sound business analyses
• How to gain alignment on your ideas through effective storytelling
• How to balance multiple projects at once, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Here is what you will bring to the table:

• Experience developing and implementing new, creative and effective solutions to highly complex business issues.
• Experience managing relationships with upper management and with technical developers.
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data querying experience, MS-SQL preferred.
• 2+ years in personal lines product management, actuarial, or other analytical role.
• Bachelors or higher-level degree preferred
