Rental Operations Representative

This is an existing opportunity to join the Rental Operations Team in Plymouth Rock’s Independent Agent Channel. This newly developed Rental Team centralizes all rental needs for 1st and 3rd party claims. The ideal candidate is responsible for creating, handling, and managing all aspects of our rental reservations in accordance with State requirements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment, multitask, while providing excellent customer service
  • Read and interpret insurance policies, State Regulations, and damage appraisal estimates to determine appropriate rental coverage and timelines
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills; will have direct interactions with vehicle owners, repair vendors, agents, etc.
  • Demonstrate high energy and motivation to follow up and take ownership.
  • Manage and update appropriate systems such as ClaimsPro, Enterprise’s ARMs system, Hertz’s Rental system, etc.
  • Adheres to privacy guidelines, law, and regulations pertaining to claims handling.
  • Required to obtain needed licenses within the first 90 days.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education:

  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and decision making skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills required. Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to handle a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls within time standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • An Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; or two to three years related Personal Lines experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
