- Conduct thorough interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding each loss.
- Maintain accurate reserves and ensure timely reserve adjustments.
- Diligently manage loss adjustment expenses.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, underwriters, reinsurers, and claims management.
- Complete comprehensive large loss reports as required.
- Retain expert vendors when necessary to aid in the investigation and evaluation of each claim.
- Adhere to best practices and litigation management guidelines.

Job Requirements:
- A college degree from an accredited university or a combination of experience and education.
- A minimum of three years of auto claims handling experience.
- Adjusters license preferred.
- Insurance designations (CPCU, AIC, SCLA, etc.) are a plus.

The Auto Damage Appraiser/Crashbuster is responsible for preparing physical damage estimates on vehicles where a claim has been submitted for first or third party damages in the Gloucester, MA area. The candidate will be required to provide a high level of customer service while utilizing measures to control severities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Survey damages, prepare estimates and negotiate settlements. Settlements include partial and total losses within their established authority level.
- Issue drafts to the appropriate parties.
- Document the claim file as necessary.
- Complete re-inspections and supplements in a timely manner complying with all state regulations.
- Liaison to Body Shops in our GRP network.
- Comply with all production standards and estimating guidelines
- Ensure that service, expense control and public relations are maintained at all times.
- Complete reports on recovered theft and fire assignments.

Qualifications and Education:

- Adverse conditions are encountered while inspecting vehicles. Candidate must be able to work outside in inclement weather and drive long distances.
- Comfortable completing inspections of damaged vehicles including but not limited to crawling under and around vehicles, inspecting vehicles in tight quarters at body shops and salvage yards, etc.
- Must be willing to participate in catastrophe claim handling when requested. This may include traveling to other locations, extended and weekend hours, and up to a three week stay away from home.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.

The mission of the Director of Partnership Distribution Analytics position is to provide insightful analysis, analytics, and recommendations to the Partners leadership team to drive informed, effective business decision-making. The Claims Representative is responsible for the handling of Auto Property Claims in accordance with NJ Unfair Practices Act. This individual will work within our “Complex PD Claim Unit”. They will need to provide a high level of customer service while exercising patience throughout the process. The environment is fast paced with heavy phone work. Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written skills are required. The position requires patience and the ability to function professionally in adversarial situations. Comparative negligence claim handling experience is a must. The position is available in Parsippany or Uniondale.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Investigate and interpret policy provisions, endorsements and conditions to determine coverage in the automobile property claim.
- Identify and investigate Contested Coverage Claims with recommendation prepared for coverage committee.
- Responsible investigating auto accident to make a liability assessment. This includes interviewing first and third party claimants, witnesses, investigating officers and other relevant parties, along with securing pertinent records, documentation and loss scene information.
- Analyze the investigation to determine proximate cause, negligence, and damages. Evaluate and adjust reserves as necessary.
- Prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel to inspect vehicles.
- Negotiate and settle claims within his/her individual authority. Submit claims for approval to supervisor when over his/her authority or for guidance, review and/or referral when appropriate.

- Act as an intermediary between the company, preferred vendors and customers, resolving any disputes that may arise.
