Claims Technology & Process Analyst

The Claims Technology and Process Analyst will be responsible for Claims project testing and user acceptance testing in our Test, QA and Model environments. You will also be doing periodic regression testing in our production environment which often involves working after hours on Friday nights. The position will also work with the business users to identify general systems and process related issues and opportunities for improvement of our technology platform and our processes, whether automated, semi-automated or manual. Additional duties include assisting with glass claims, the escheatment process, add vendor process, and attending surcharge hearings when emergency coverage is needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare test plans and execute system testing which covers all the functionality described in the Business Requirements documents Log defects, collaborate with IT developers to find solutions, and review system testing results in Quality Center
  • Work closely with the IT Help Desk on issues as they arise for Claims users with all IT supported claims applications
  • Upon completion of user acceptance testing, provide feedback and results to direct supervisor and the UAT group
  • May be asked to work with business analysts, trainers, claims supervisors, or claim representatives who report to others to produce results.
  • Assist with the glass claims process / Assist with the add vendor process Some travel may be required if coverage is needed for in-person surcharge hearings

Education & Experience:

  • Analytical and problem solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within a set time frame
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with MS Office Suite, ClaimsPro, ImageRight, Client Letter, Agent Web and Customer Web interfaces
  • Some project testing experience preferred as well as strong collaboration skills - the ability to work well with others is very important in this position.
